This is a relatively uncommon species of Damselfly that appears to be a small replica of the largest of all the Odonata--the Helicopter Damselfly.

This species is considerably larger than the Asian species used in Damselfly Drift. For such a delicate and fragile insect, it composes a rather bold and stately piece.
