A gorgeous butterfly with soft tones of deep blue to electric silver green. It is not uncommon in the forests of Peru and Ecuador, yet there is some dispute as to its true Latin name. It is referred to by several different names: both genus and species.

Apparently numerous taxonomists are vying to have their name attached to this handsome little Lepidoptera.
