This unusual longhorn beetle is one of the world's largest. I handled a specimen while in Iquitos, Peru over 6½" long.

It is amazingly powerful, and at that size can be quite dangerous. It is also the most ornately decorated of all the giant longhorn beetles.

Consequently, it is one of the most prized species of insects in the world. The largest specimens easily fetch thousands of dollars.

Shown is a standard sized example at about 5” long. Please inquire about the availability of exceptionally large specimens.
