The Harlequin Longhorn Beetle is an utterly unique beetle in coloration, form and markings.

The super-elongated front legs of the males and their elaborate pattern of pastel peach, gray, and black is not duplicated anywhere
in nature.

Like many longhorn beetles, this is a ferocious species with a powerful bite. Perhaps this is why the ancient Incas painted their
war shields with the markings of the Harlequin Longhorn.
