In spite of a range that extends from Guatemala to Brazil, Hercules Beetles are very difficult to locate. A large Hercules is among the most prized of all beetles.

With several described subspecies, the wing covers (elytra) of Hercules Beetles can very widely from uniform black to dusty brown to spotted green. The frontal horn and thorax, however always remain glossy black.

A limited number of these beetles measuring about 5" and up is available.
