ATLAS MOTH (SL-23)

Thailand to China

16x20inches

Like the beautiful Giant Comet Moth, Atlas Moths owe their short adult lifespans to the fact that their ability to eat ends when they pupate from caterpillar to moth.

They have an intricate pattern of brown, rust, tan, yellow, pink, orange, red and black with a transparent "window" in both the hind wings and fore wings.

Atlas Moths have the largest overall surface area of any moth or butterfly and their wingspan can reach an amazing 10".
