Surely one of the loveliest of all the eyed silk moths. Pastel hues of white, tan, yellow, salmon and apricot will intrigue even the most casual observer.

In nature, the eyespots act as a temporary deterrent, momentarily confusing predators and giving this short-lived moth a chance to escape.

Captive bred in Madagascar. Average sized at about 4 inches.
