Though most tropical regions around the world are home to some species of giant katydid, none can compare in sheer size to those of Southeast Asia.

Prominent among the giant leaf mimics are the rarely captured Corporalis from Malaysia. The body length of each can be well
over 5½".

As with the walking leafs, signs of "decay damage" on the leaf-like wings perfects their camouflage.
